Conducting training sessions at HRDC, Southern Command—one of the many Army units where I have been invited to train SSB aspirants

About The Author

Success in the Services Selection Board (SSB) isn’t about memorizing generic responses—it’s about understanding the deep psychological intent behind tests like SRT, WAT, and TAT. This is where my methods and concepts stand apart.

With years of dedicated research and hands-on experience, I have trained candidates across some of the most prestigious military institutions, including:

✅ AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College)

✅ HRDC of Southern & Western Command

✅ MH Baroda

Having worked closely with serving soldiers of the Army and Air Force, I have helped nearly 50 candidates, mainly serving soldiers of Army and Air Force get recommended. A few of our recommendations can be seen here. These are a testament to the effectiveness and the quality of my training.

My journey into training SSB candidates started in 2016 when Havildar Nadeem Wani from the Army Medical Corps invited me to conduct a batch at his unit MH Baroda. After attending the batch, he got recommended, and soon, his friends started reaching out. That’s how I ended up at AFMC, where I trained Havildar Suraj Sirigiri—who also got recommended. Over the years, most of my students have been serving soldiers from the Army and Air Force, many of whom had previously attended big academies but found my teaching approach to be on a completely different level.

I know what you might be thinking: “This author was never in the army, so what can he teach?” I completely understand this concern. In fact, when I was first invited to conduct a batch at AFMC Pune in 2016, the Company Commander asked me the same thing. My answer? I let my results speak. Two candidates from that batch got recommended. And since then, I’ve been invited to train candidates at prestigious army units like AFMC, HRDC of Southern Command, HRDC of Western Command, and candidates of various AMC units in Lucknow.

That’s the strength of my methodology—it’s not about where I come from, it’s about whether I can deliver real insight that leads to success.

Despite training only around 120 candidates, I have over 50 recommendations—a success rate of nearly 40%. Compare this to big academies, where 200–400 candidates enroll every month but only 10–20 get recommended (less than 5%). I’ve even had batches where 5 out of 7 candidates were recommended. But since I never marketed my training or conducted marketing and publicity, my name didn’t spread beyond word-of-mouth recommendations.

This is exactly why I wrote these books. My students always felt bad seeing aspirants spend ₹20,000–₹30,000 at big academies, only to walk away without truly understanding the psychology tests or the SSB process. In contrast, my students have always learned the real inner workings of these tests, which is why they kept referring their friends, siblings, and colleagues to me. Even today, my teaching remains an eye-opener for candidates who previously trained elsewhere.

I know that no book, academy, or YouTube channel can teach what I teach in my classes—but you don’t have to take my word for it. I encourage you to watch my free YouTube videos on TAT, WAT, and SRT and read the sample chapters of my books. You’ll immediately see the depth, clarity, and methodology I bring to these tests.

For example, SRT is a test full of traps. Out of 60 situations, 45–48 are easy, but the remaining 12–15 decide your fate. Most candidates don’t even realize they are giving negative responses, thinking they are impressive. My SRT book takes 40 of the trickiest situations and explains exactly how the board assesses them.

Similarly, my WAT book is not just a collection of sample sentences. I have analyzed 400+ responses, breaking them down to the micro level—even interpreting single words—to show how assessors evaluate them. This book will change the way you look at WAT forever.

TAT, being the most complex test, is where even the smartest candidates struggle. Nobody teaches TAT the way I do, and if you don’t believe me, just watch my  TAT Video Series on YouTube. In my book, I break down stories sentence by sentence, word by word, helping candidates understand not just “what” to write, but why.

All three books have been personally typed by me, reflecting my commitment to helping every candidate understand the real science behind these tests.

I am a simple person. I don’t create hype. I don’t make tall claims. My content speaks for itself. That’s why two candidates recently got recommended just by watching my YouTube videos and reading my books—without attending any coaching. Their stories are on my channel.

If you like my videos and sample chapters, don’t wait to buy the book. We have limited copies, and mastering these concepts takes time. Start now, and give yourself the best chance of success in the SSB.
